Mid Pane Blinds - Slimstyle ISB
Fitting blinds between glass can be up to 35% much more effective for controlling solar gain than fitting on the room side. If the area is ventilated it will be even more effective as the heat that builds up between the blind and the glass can be dispersed.
Mid Pane blinds are less prone to mishandling by users as the controls are either electric or, if manual, they are traced through the frame to operate from the room side.
Mini blinds (25mm) are the most popular louvre size as the space between the panes is normally quite limited although all louvre sizes are suitable with the full colour range available.
