Easi Roll - side control ball chain control

Easi roll blinds are operated by a chain at the side. A friction mechanism within the roller controls the descent and holds the blind in position at any height. The chain can be beaded cord or chromed steel ball chain.

Which ball chain is best steel or cord?

The strongest is cord, steel is constructed from split balls that have a lower breaking strain than cord. Chromed steel can discolour after several years, cord can become grubby in use. For domestic use steel will probably look better for longer for commercial general use cord is better because it is stronger.

Hallmark Easi-roll blinds are supplied with child safety devices to secure the looped chains. In areas used by very young children a spring or rod operated blind may be more suitable.
